Towards a more resilient Philippines

Our country is experiencing many problems like Poverty, nature, and Politics. Poverty is the main problem here in our country, this is where unemployment and lack of education come from because parents cannot afford to support their children. As a result, many children are unable to study and will not be able to get a job when they grow up. They will depend on the government or become thieves to provide for their needs. Pollution from vehicles, the garbage dumped everywhere, and cutting down trees in forests caused polluted air and blockage of canals that cause flooding. in politics, many are corrupt in government, some are idle, many are useless and some are fighting and ruining each other. we cannot achieve peace and freedom in our country if the leaders are not disciplined and do not know how to lead us to peace.

In life’s journey, we inevitably encounter difficulties and blows in various ways degree. When facing adversity, different people are there will be different levels of response. The correct amount of pressure helps us to develop our potential and be a positive driving force. To cope with adversity, we need to prepare ourselves well for our day-to-day life to meet challenges at different stages of life. As long as we practice more, we will be able to strengthen our spirit and mind.

Know your goal and your ability and then set reasonable expectations to push you towards your goal. If we observe closely the course of our government one thing we will immediately see is the lack of unity and misunderstanding among many of our leaders and elected town officials about the plan and direction of the administration and the programs that must be implemented. This is what causes the slow progress of our country and we are being left behind by our neighboring countries in Asia. At least such situations do not only happen in politics because we also see them daily.

We come from only one country and the welfare and future of this country depend on us. Whatever role we play we are still Filipinos and our behavior displayed will give an impression especially to a foreigner what a Filipino is. It is in the minds of some of us that the future of our country depends on whoever is in charge. I just want to clarify that the leading President of the country can do a lot to improve our future. But if we do not have unity and understanding towards this goal, and if we do not fulfill our responsibilities towards this goal, there is little to be achieved, and the plan to improve the condition of the Philippines and every Filipino is remained only a dream. We must unite and understand each other for the sake of our bright future.

  2. Despite everything that has happened and is still happening in our country, it is to be said that it is us to blame for it. It depends on us, everything depends on us to make the world a better place. It is our choice to change and help one another without hesitation but with love and care. If we ever join forces, there is no doubt that every calamity, problem nor obstacle can be prevented, or better, be long gone.

  4. Hi Gerlie!! I really like the structure and content of this blog. The message is clear and on point, there are also no mistakes in its grammar. Although the Philippines has a bad government and corrupt officials, its citizens are the complete opposite of it. They are like a bamboo tree, no matter how strong the wind is, they will still stand up again despite the damage they have taken. It is a unique trait that we, the Filipinos must be proud of.
